Surprising was the HEFT of BAy to BAY.. eg. Their 17's are "nice" . Of course they donot call them 1's, 2s or 3's as is typical. Good thing
because only an event like this will show any distinction (IMO). They All look strong to these old eyes..

B-2-B take over of AAU in OR:ANDO last season seems to have affected the choices of boys far from San Jose.
In 17's, One kid from Antoch, another from Carmel >. Dang. That distamce means they really want to be with that Club..

VALLEY, OMNI and UNION are new to me. Though Union was a takeover of a NCS, Fremont club.
Joe Peacock has PAC RIM so they won't slack off. Though one of his NORTHGATE boys plays for a San Jose club.

AFTER LAST YEARS NATIONAL CHAMP 17's in ORLANDO.
BAY to BAY 18s Continue on as Top of the NorCAL HEAP. aka WEST COAST Championship.

They defeated old Foe MVVC 18 Red, whicj is a great team. TOO.

Side Note: In semis, VALLEY Club out of Central Section took B to B,, the Extra set.
"undersized" compared to the Finalists.
..As expected from Clovis (Fresno), they are highly skilled.

Out of towners are even beyond those. A couple of Out of State boys were reported.

Of NCS intersst. Yesterdays leading scorer , Marcelo, for the Champs is from Moreau Catholic
of Hayward , The second time I heard of a B to B kid who will be at Moreau.
The other was on B 2 B 17-1, also with a Deer Valley high flyer.
O"Dowd and Castro Valley will have worthy competition again
